Betty a La Mode

Ana Ortiz

Biography

Who knew that Hilda is a ballerina, singer and actress? Multi-talented Ana Ortiz shows that Betty’s sassy sister can do much more than meets the eye.

Ana was born in Manhattan New York on January 25th 1971.

As a child, Ana trained for 8 years to become a ballerina, but sadly had to quit due to the pain caused by dancing ‘en pointes’. She then decided to follow a new direction, singing.

She made her debut in a regional theater production of ‘Dangerous Liaisons’ and then went on to appear in productions such as ‘In Arabia, We’d All Be Kings’, ‘Hair’ & ‘Dog Lady and the Cuban Swimmer’.

As well as shining on stage, Ana has appeared in many highly respected television shows such as ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’, ‘ER’ and ‘NYPD Blue’. Her acting skills have been recognised many times with awards from ALMA 2007 and the IMAGEN Awards.
